Oregon Inlet Campgroud, NC

Today we headed East to the "Outer Banks, NC" and now are in the "Oregon Inlet Campground". This is a National Parks campground with NO hook-ups. The campground is on the sandbar and has good roads. Our campsite.

We visited Roanoke Island and the site of "The Lost Colony". I won't give a history lesson.

From Williamston to here requires crossing the long bridges.

We walked the dogs and ourselves on the beach but the wind sent us home early.

Tomorrow we will visit the Light house and Kitty Hawk.

Sherri and I lived in NC for three years and loved it. So good to see you two safe...and most of all having fun! We hope to make it out that way in a few years. So much to see and do
