Red Bay, ALe

Today at 10:30 am we arrived in Red Bay Allegro Campground. Our campsite #18.

We visited Lisa and her family in Lubbock, TX.

T'was only a two stay stop but we enjoyed meeting "Melissa" and visiting with Lisa's family.
The trip from Lubbock to Red Bay was threw Jackson, MS and along the reservoir.

The trip was uneventful, just the way we like it.
Now just wait for the service department.

Tyler, Texas

Tonite we are in "Northgate RV Park" in Tyler Texas, about 50 miles East of Dallas.
Tomorrow we will move to the Jackson, MS area. We may move north, weather and moods allowed for.

Painted Desert, Petrified Forest

Saturday we headed East. We stopped at the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest.

The goal today was to drive East of Albuquerque, NM. We stopped at a Pasport america campground after 5 pm local time. No one was in the office but we were able to locate a site large enough to use the slides.
We departed at 8:30 am , again headed East and arrived in Lubbock, Texas at 4 pm. We are camped at Camelot Village and will be here till Tuesday morning.
We had expected to stay in Arizona, But Glenn damaged the Motor Home getting into a campsite in Kanab, UT. We are now going to Red Bay, AL to have the body work completed.

We also visited "The La Posada Hotel",built in 1929. The architect was Mary Colter.
She was the chief architect for the "Fred Harvey Company". The restored hotel is now the pride of Winslow. The Lobby.

Meteor Crater Winslow, AZ

Today we moved to the Meteor Crater RV Park near Winslow, AZ.The 135 mile trip was uneventful, just the way we like it. Route 89 South from Page, AZ. Lots of high buffs.

Antelope Canyon tour

Today we were picked up at the campground to tour "Antelope Canyon". This canyon is on "Navajo" land and the entry is restricted. The canyon is fascinating. This is called the "Bear".

Page, AZ

Moved to Page, AZ and the Glen Canyon Dam. This was a short 70 mile trip. The scenery just keeps getting better.
