Easter 2011

Easter Sunday, after church we came home, Changed clothes, gathered the food together, and drove to Kandy's for a family cookout and get together. This is Kandy with her Grandson.

Visit with Wendy's family

Saturday Sylvia made a Banana pudding and we drove to Wendy's. Wendy's brother Tony, wife Halie, and children had came up from North Carolina. On a dare two girles jumped in the pool.

Visiting Family in Virginia

Doctors visits

Monday morning was a fasting blood draw, Tuesday, a visit with a back specialist.. Sylvia has an electrical stimulator to evaluate for a month. Wednesday visit the cardiologist.  We both had our meds adjusted.
Sylvia has to evaluate the stimulator for 30 days,  We will have to extend our stay here at "Big Bear Family Campground" in Windsor, VA .The new expected departure date is May 18. All planing subject to change.

John H Kerr Dam, VA

Friday April 1 We packed up the rig, hooked up the car,in the snow storm, and headed East. The trip was without events, just the way we like it.

Our campsite in this "Corps of Engineers" campground is spacious and level. The John H Kerr Dam is a flood control dam with 7 water turbines generating power. The lake is located West of I-85 at the NC  VA border.

Today, Monday, The temperatures are in the low 80,s and a light wind..Not perfect but great.
