Jerome, AZ

A pretty sky this morning.

Our exploration today is Jerome, AZ

From Drop Box
This wild copper city is built on a mountain side.

From Drop Box
After many fires in the mine, the smelter and buildings were moved to convert the mine to an open pit. This type of mining may be safer but the environment suffers.

From Drop Box
Our lunch is on top of the stairs.

From Drop Box
The burgers are great.

From Drop Box
The view from the Veranda.

From Drop Box

The town was loaded with Bordellos and bars.

From Drop Box
The attempt to clean up the town.

From Drop Box
The trip down was a pretty sight with the sun and cloud effect on the red cliffs.

From Drop Box
Back home to wash clothes, eat, and of course feed the dogs.
Our skies this evening.
