We left "The Eagles Nest" in Van Horn, TX traveling East on I-10. At the "Y" we followed I-20 to Wink, Texas. This old house needs some "TLC" as the Realtor would say.
We stopped at the Wink Park for lunch. We lived in Wink for about one year while Glenn worked on building the swimming pool and weight rooms at the high school.
Wink is still active and the oil is still flowing.
We drove threw Kermit, a town of 5000. Our youngest son Kyle was born here.
The town seems to be doing well. New buildings and activity on Main Street.
The sand dunes Between Kermit and Andrews.
This is the "Permian Basin" and oil flows.
Andrews Chamber of Commerce Park, We stayed at the campground there. This old derrick is in the campground and Memorial Park.
We visited Glenn's Nephew, Roger in Andrews. Had a nice chat and breakfast. The land North of Andrews is farmed heavily, including growing peanuts.
Farmers are working the fields and the wind is blowing.
Saturday, Lisa and Manual are painting the baby's room.
With the walls painted, the decorations go up. The Baby's name, Aniyah.
The sunset at "Mesa Verde RV Park".
