We drove to Scott's then to Lunch. Our lunch stop.
The inside is interesting.
We drove to Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson, our 3rd president.
The view from the rear lawn.
Monticello is built on a mountain top. The views are breathtaking.
Sadly no pictures are allowed inside. The furnishings are far better than Michie Tavern. Jefferson was a wealthy man.
The kitchen. Photos are allowed in the "Slave" areas.
The wine cellar.
The gardens.
Leaving Monticello.
We stopped at "Carter Mountain Orchard" near by.
The orchard also is on a mountain top.
We returned to Scott's then returned to the RV.
