Wednesday we visited the Dismal Swamp. Two years ago the swamp was on fire. The trip today was to look for wildlife and regrowth. The swamp is just as I would have imagined, water and mud.

The road into the lake goes past this "house", believe that it's a muskrat house.

Rumor is that they are on their way to Florida for an airshow.
The hangers in Suffolk are the assembly point for restored WW-1 and WW-2 Fighter aircraft. Sylvia and I walked to the hanger and asked if we could look around. The Mechanic said we could and as soon as the golf cart returned he would show us the other hangers with more Aircraft.
A Torpedo bomber like George H W Bush flew.

The planes are all restored to flying condition. All the mechanics are paid, and are "Certified Aircraft Mechanics". No volunteer's work on the structure or engines.
The planes are part of "Military Aviation Museum" in Virginia Beach, VA.
Today we shopped at "Chesapeake Square".
That's all fer today.
