We were up at 6:15 to get ready for the tour. Getting ready included taking the dogs for a walk, as they were to be in the RV all day. The trolley picked us up at 8:20 am. We met 4 other couples downtown. The first stop was the Japanese Gardens.
The stone work fascinated me. The fact that there is no frost sure helped the stone work.
We next had a river boat ride through San Antonio. The area is kept in great shape.
We had lunch and shopped in downtown and toured the "Alamo".
We then went to the "Mission San Jose" where the "mission" walls have been reconstructed or repaired. This is the only mission where the entire scope of the fort can be seen. This picture is from just inside the gate.
We attended another mission"Mission Concepcion". He here the "Church" is being restored and the walls have been removed.
The last stop was the Market and Bakery where Lorine got some "sweets"
That was a long day in San Antonio, Texas. Till next time.
