Tanner, AL

Friday morning we rose early and departed the campground by 8 am. We fueled up at the station in Swannanoa, NC and headed West on I-40.The weather was overcast but no rain.

The road crews were out improving our roads. There was no back up of traffic West bound. The tunnel had one lane closed.

We entered Tennessee.

Following I-40 and I-65 was an easy drive. Soon we are in Alabama. The picture is threw a dirty windshield.

Then the missal,you know you are near Huntsville.

We are camped in Swan Creek Resort in Tanner Cross roads, just South of Athens, AL. This was and partly still is a Mobil Home Park. The sites are spacious.
We arrived late in the day and had supper at "Cracker Barrel".

Today we visited Glenn Jr and his family in Madison, AL.
