Oregon Coast Aquarium

Today the Oregon Aquarium and two lighthouses. The aquarium contains the sea life from the West Coast. The first tank is the Otters.

Newport, Oregon

We moved this morning, leaving about 9:30. The weather was cool and cloudy.

We are camped in Harbor Village RV Park. We set up,had a light lunch, then went to Wal-mart for Drugs and shopping. Later we walked on the beach.

Tillamook, OR

We are camped in Tillamook RV park. We set up, had lunch of Crab Cakes, toured the Tillamook Cheeze Factory, Toured Cape Meares Lighthouse, and the Beach near 3 Arch Rocks.

Friday, Hammond, OR

Friday was wash day,The laundry in Hammond is close to a neat front yard.

Later we walked beach near the Wreck of "The Peter Iredale", that ran aground during a storm in 1906. There is not much left of the steel sailing vessel.

Fort Stevens, Oregon

Wednesday so this must be Oregon. We left Kelso and drove to Astoria, Or and Ft Stevens State Park. Today we explored the park and coast. The wreck of the "Peter Iredale".

The Fort was in use until 1944. The Air Force and Airplanes made the shore battery's obsolete.
