Scott's Promotion
Today our Son Scott is promoted to the rank of Lt. Commander in the Navy. Sylvia and I came to Charlottesville, VA to watch the proceedings. Well after the official words were spoken, Scott asked me to place the rank boards on his shoulders. That was a great honor for a humble retired Carpenter.

With the ceremonies completed, we all stopped to EAT and drive up the hills to a wine tasting.
A great day here with our Son and his family.

Congratulations to your son. LCDR is an important promotion. I can barely remember when I hit that rank. I think it was 1979.
