John H Kerr Dam, VA

Friday April 1 We packed up the rig, hooked up the car,in the snow storm, and headed East. The trip was without events, just the way we like it.

Our campsite in this "Corps of Engineers" campground is spacious and level. The John H Kerr Dam is a flood control dam with 7 water turbines generating power. The lake is located West of I-85 at the NC  VA border.

Today, Monday, The temperatures are in the low 80,s and a light wind..Not perfect but great.
Tuesday is travel day.
