Verona, New York

Tuesday morning, we are on the road again, Now headed to Verona, NY to visit my Brother and Sister-in-law, Al & Jan. We are staying here.

We went out to eat at Jolies steak house. the interior is all wood.

We also allowed Sylvia to eat.

Wednesday Al had an eye exam so we met them for lunch, eating again.

We had to stand near something that was older than we are.

We returned to the RV to rest and relax as tomorrow is travel day. The ponds in the park.

We will have to return to Monson, MA after Labor day so Sylvia can have the "Stereotactic Breast Biopsy" in Holyoke Hospital.

Sylvia's Biopsy

This morning we are up at 5:30 and on the way to Mercy Hospital to the Mammogram area. Sylvia had a mammogram two weeks ago, they found a suspicious area and today will take a biopsy. We will have the results tomorrow.
Sylvia is on a rest program the remainder of today and suspect she will be sore tomorrow.

Ontario, Sandra and Gordon

Wednesday morning we were up early, 5:30, drove the dogs over to Pete & Marilyn's, and headed to Smiths Falls, Ontario.The weather was overcast and rain predicted.

We arrived about 10:30 and found Gordon & Sandra's place. Sandra & Gordon were fulltime RVer's, they now live in Smiths Falls, a charming village in a great location, on a canal with locks in town.

Gordon drove us to Perth and Merrickville. Interesting buildings and countryside. The canal system is well kept and well used. Old barns.

Our Home

This will be our home for the next month. We will be going to Canada after the 4 th of July to visit with Sandra & Gordon. We met Sandra & Gordon while in Goliad, TX a couple of years ago.
The campground here, "Babbling Brook" is on the bank of the Salmon River.
