Saturday at home 8-8-9

This morning the humidity and temperatures were high. While cleaning up the inside of the Motorhome Sylvia decided to open the birdcage door and let the bird roam around the coach. We restrained "Snowflake" to preserve the birds life.

The bird was returned safley to the cage about an hour later. 12:00 noon the rain started. The hail started about 10 minutes later. Glenn pulled in the slides and turned on the weather alert radio. There was a tornado sighted about 20 miles south of our present location, the storm was moving Southeast away from us. 20 minutes later the rain stopped and Glenn set the slides out and life returned to normal.

This evening we tried playing Put-Put. Of course we have pictures.

Corn Palace and indian campsite

Today we drove to Walmart to have prescriptions refilled. Well, because they were refilled in New York State, We now have to call the Doctors to have them rewritten. New York canceled them all. Lessons learned!
We visited the Corn Palace in Mitchell. Began in 1892 to display the crop and show the area's abundant fertile soil. We have pictures.

Aug. 4,2009

46 years ago today Sylvia and I were married in Annapolis, MD. After 5 children and 9 Grandchildren we are still celebrating.
This morning we visited "Opas Tractor Barn". This is a barn and farm museum. The tractors are Minneapolis Moline's that were built here in the Mid-west. The displays in the barn brought back many memories.
