Sad to say that no pictures are allowed inside. Buddy Holly was popular 1957 to Feb. 1959. Buddy Holly, J P Richardson (The Big Bopper), and Ritchie Valens were killed in a plane crash Feb 2, 1959.

This is our campsite in Mesa Verde campground.

Wolfforth, TX

Today Glenn re-set TomTom and she can now see the GPS satellites. We took the camera to the Nikon shop to have it cleaned inside. While there we had the lens checked. The teck said that the lens was working as designed. While in the shop we purchased a new lens, 50-200 mm. Sylvia likes this. This picture is at 50 mm.

This one is 200 mm.

Mesa Verde RV Park, Lubbock, Tx

Sunday evening we arrived in Mesa Verde RV Park, Wolfforth, TX. The park is on Hwy 82 Southwest of Lubbock. This is a new park and the sites are spacious.
This is the third time this year that we have traveled three days in a row and each time we have had car battery problems. Today, Monday, Glenn drove the car to have the battery and alternator checked. Everything checked out as it should. The problem seems to be the lack of a charging line from the Coach to the Car while towing. The car had not been driven long enough to re-charge the battery on our overnight stops. Glenn will check that out Tuesday.
That's all for now.

Repairs complete.

Today the windshield is caulked and we are ready to get on the road again. When Glenn walked in to pay the bill,He was informed that all the work was free. Now how can you beat a deal like that. The total cost of being here is the $10.00 per day campground fee.
We expect to leave in the Morning headed West toward Lubbock, TX. We have reservations for Monday in Lubbock, so we have a relaxed move this time.
We did meet Paul and June here in Red Bay, AL.. We camped with them 2 years ago in Summerdale, AL at the Plantation. We did have a good visit.
Till next time!
